Site Policies & Guideline for Listing Titles

Your auction titles are the single most important factor helping you as a Seller to make sales. This is because the easier you make it for your buyers to find your items then the more sales you are likely to make.

Your titles also need to conform to general rules set out by major search engines such as Google and Yahoo. If it does not, then your CQout listing will be rejected by them and not be indexed or searchable within these search engine when we submit your listings. 

Listing Titles Must Haves:

• It should start with Make or Brand Name,  example Sony, Gucci, Tiffany etc
• Then model name and model number
• Then colour , size,  type  or anything else which makes one item different to the last similar item listed
  This is so when a buyer sees a list of a dozen or more Gucci hand bag items it is perfectly
  clear from the auction title alone what they are and what is different about each listing.
• Minimum 25 characters, When a title is very short it limits the chances of your item being found by users searching. i.e this means important keywords which help your item being found by buyers have not been included.

• 2009, 09 or  any year or number at start of the titles
• A003 or any number at the start of the titles unless the name of the item is in fact a number
• Hot! or any other sales slogan or superlative at the front
• The following characters are not permitted anywhere within the title: ! @  '(single quote) " (double quotes)
• Excessive capitalisation: Please use standard spelling and grammar, and avoid all
  unnecessary use of capitalisation

Nokia 3310 Mobile/Cell Phone - Silver
Nokia 3310 Mobile/Cell Phone - Black
Nokia 3310 Mobile/Cell Phone - Blue
